WIN Helps Normalize Leptin Levels — Which Promotes Fat Burning!
The mechanism of action behind WIN's success is that it promotes the repairing of desensitized Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus gland and lowers the production of Leptin in one's body, so that the amount of Leptin in the blood doesn't overdrive and desensitize or "break" Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus. This enables fat burning.
To understand how this works, one needs to first understand that there is a communication mechanism from fat cells to the brain letting the brain know if sufficient fat reserves exist in one's body (enough fat to outlast a famine). This is a survival mechanism that is inherent to human life.
- The Hypothalamus gland contains receptors for a chemical called Leptin. Leptin is made exclusively in fat cells and then circulates in the bloodstream. The Hypothalamus receptors "sniff" the blood to check for the presence of Leptin in the blood.
- If these receptors are able to sense sufficient Leptin then the Hypothalamus knows that there are enough fat cells in the body to survive a short term famine, and it is happy, and signals for fat burning.
- But, if the Hypothalamus cannot sense very many Leptin molecules then the Hypothalamus will take that as proof that there is inadequate incoming food (meaning a famine or sickness)... and take steps to survive this famine or sickness.
- The steps that the Hypothalamus will take when Leptin levels are low include lowering energy expenditures (IE lowering the energy set-point), switching the metabolic mode to sugar burning (fat storing) instead of fat burning, in order to store as many incoming calories as possible as fat.
The Leptin Switch is a Great Thing - It Helps Us Survive Famine and Sickness
So, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
- As long as the Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus are sensitive to Leptin (rather than desensitized and unable to detect Leptin) - the Hypothalamus Leptin feedback mechanism works great. How this feedback system id designed to function is as follows:
- If one stops eating (for instance, if one is sick, or there is no food to be eaten), fat will continue to be burned for energy, until eventually, when there isn't very much fat left on one's body, Leptin levels will also go down. With much less fat, very little Leptin will be being made.
- At that point, when Leptin levels are too low (because there is very little fat on the body making Leptin), the Hypothalamus will recognize the low Leptin situation
- and will switch the body's metabolic mode to fat storing (sugar burning mode). The result of this is that energy expenditure will go down and fat reserves will start to be conserved.
- Later, when the person starts eating enough food, fat reserves will be built up again because the person is in the fat storing mode, and the Leptin levels will correspondingly go up.
- at this point, the Hypothalamus will recognize that Leptin levels are normal again, meaning the famine is over and will switch the body back to the healthier, fat burning metabolic mode.
- And, that's how fat reserves will be maintained at a high enough level to outlast a famine or illness.

- The problem is that when Leptin receptors are damaged or desensitized to Leptin, fat storing will CONTINUOUSLY OCCUR until the receptors are repaired because with broken receptors the Hypothalamus will be unable to sense Leptin. With broken receptors, the Hypothalamus cannot detect Leptin even if its level is very high (because one has an excessive amount of fat). When desensitized to Leptin the Hypothalamus believes that Leptin levels in the body are zero... and that the body is starving to death. So, desensitized Leptin receptors are essentially an unsurmoutable problem and a primary cause of inability to lose weight.
- Here's How Leptin receptors get broken!
- Just like ear drums or one's sense of smell can be desensitized by continuous loud noises or smells, Leptin receptors can be desensitized by continuous high levels of Leptin in the bloodstream.
- When Leptin receptors are "desensitized", they are not able to sense Leptin levels.
- As a result of not sensing Leptin levels, the Hypothalamus panics, thinking there is a famine or illness and therefore the Hypothalamus directs the body to be in a mode of conserving and storing fat and burning sugar (instead of fat), in order to increase fat reserves.
- The Hypothalamus will continue forever in the fat conserving/storing mode until it can again sense Leptin.
- So, trying to lose weight when one's body is in the fat storing mode is like trying to swim upstream.
- The WIN program is the best way to lose fat weight because it works with your Leptin control system (your body's natural fat management system) called the Hypothalamic Leptin switch) to re-sensitize Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus. More Specifics About Why and How WIN Works
The genius of WIN is:
- the super-high amount of nutrients in the five WIN ingredients completely nourish the body's cells (probably better than they have been nourished ever before),
- but, also, because the WIN powders have very little sugar/carb content, blood sugar drops significantly. That is because when blood sugar is low, fat cells produce far less Leptin than when blood sugar is at normal levels.
- and So, low blood sugar means less leptin production which helps the Hypothalamus receptor tissue to repair and become sensitive again to Leptin. This allows the body to go back to the fat burning mode.
- WIN powders continue to help the body to maintain Leptin at low enough levels so that the Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus are not re-damaged and one can stay in the fat burning mode.
- If one stays in the fat burning mode, then one can burn off excess fat. Eventually, when one has burned up all the excess fat on his or her body, Leptin levels will stay at the correct levels for fat burning to continue without the help of the WIN powders, IE, one can eat normal foods, again.
Some additional points:
- Risotriene/Ricatein (which is nearly half of E7 by weight) helps re-sensitize Leptin receptors in the Hypothalamus.
- Once those Leptin receptors are repaired, the Hypothalamus can "suddenly" see the pounds of fat that were there all along, but were previously "invisible" and not being used for energy. And seeing the availability of that fat, the Hypothalamus can begin signaling for fat burning.
- WIN's other numerous nutrients ensure that MTOR receptors are satisfied.
- If one eats too too few amino acids and minerals the result will be that hunger (survival or cribbing) urges will be difficult to ignore. This is because MTOR receptors won't be sensing enough of them for the MTOR feedback loop to be at rest... and the result will be urges to eat.
- With the balance in WIN, the body responds to lowered Leptin, ideal amounts of nutrients and very few carbs by burning fat both day and night.
- Interestingly, one's fat is exhaled as carbon dioxide... so that one literally breathes fat away. And, one gets healthier and healthier while burning up excess fat.

The WIN Protocol
- Before starting, get approval from your doctor.
- For the first five to ten days, we recommend consuming four servings per day of the WIN drink. These first five to ten days is when one's body will be switching metabolic modes from sugar burning to fat burning (some people switch more quickly than others due to faster repairing of the broken Leptin receptors in their Hypothalamus glands). If you are hungry or unsettled during these first days, you aren't consuming enough WIN drinks.
- After the first five to ten days, you will want to consume two, three or four WIN drinks to maintain a state of "no hunger". Space these drinks somewhat evenly apart. The goal is to never be hungry (so that you aren't in a stress mode). Most people consume three drinks per day. Some are completely full with only two. If you're still hungry after three drinks do a fourth one. Always finish your last WIN drink between three and a maximum of five hours before bedtime. Examples (feel free to adjust to your own personal clock).
- Example for four servings: 7am, 11am, 2pm and 7pm
- Example for three servings: 9am, 2pm and 7pm
- Example for two servings: 11:30 am and 7pm
- As far as the capsules, one should consume 6 capsules per day of OGF and 1 capsules per day of AID. It doesn't matter if one consumes them all at once or spaced throughout the day, but for "simplicity", most people take them all at once in the morning.
- A WIN drink includes four different food powders and water as follows (powder amounts can be adjusted base on body size):
- 15 to 50 ounces of water. Filling the stomach is more satiating (satisfying) for your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind likes a full stomach and will generate less urges to eat if you frequently fill your stomach. So, the amount of water in each WIN drink depends on whether you want a stronger taste in your mouth or a fuller stomach.
- 1 Scoop (22 grams) of E7 — the RisoTriene/Ricatein in E7 is one of the secrets to repairing damaged Leptin receptors.
- 1 to 4 tablespoons of Vegan Protein — larger persons use four tablespoons, smaller persons can use as little one tablespoon per serving. (Hechoco = Hemp with Chocolate, Richoco = Sprouted Rice with Chocolate or Ricocu = Sprouted Rice with Cupuacu) — choose whichever protein you like best.
- 2 to 4 teaspoons (a little less or a little more than one tablespoon, according to your body size) of GPS — this ingredient supplies minerals, antioxidants, nutrients galore.
- (Please note that one can use 3 or 4 tablespoons of Risotriene and Monk Fruit to taste instead of E7.)
Persons under 150 pounds can use the smaller amounts of powder as shown above. It is always important to have at least as much nutrition as your body needs... extra nutrition won't be a stress, to your body, but too little nutrition will be a stress. So, smaller and/or less active people are candidates for using the smaller serving amounts.
Why Are These Products Included in the WIN Protocol?
- E7 (Seven Essentials)Ricatein or Risotriene/Ricatein — Soluble, Stabilized Rice Bran. Risotriene/Ricatein or E7 (which contains Risotriene) is very good at helping to restore sensitivity to Leptin receptors. Ricatein is high in Gamma Oryzanol, a tissue healer and Tocotrienols (a cousin to Vitamin E) that heal all types of tissues and both Insulin and Leptin receptors. Such healing is key to ensuring the desirable fat burning metabolism that enables fat to be easily burned for energy. How Many Bags of Each WIN Food Powder or Supplement Do I need for a Month?
Each bag of food powder lasts a different amount of time. That means they won't run out at the same time.
- Seven Essentials (E7) contains thirty 22 gram servings. At three servings per day. That's enough for 10 days. At $60 per canister, and 3 canisters a month, that's about $180 a month cost.
- A one pound bag of Vegan Protein has about 60 tablespoons. That's 30 servings at two tablespoons per serving or 15 servings at four tablespoons. Someone over 170 pounds would need between 3 and 4 bags per month... at a cost of $22 per bag (and average of 3.5 bags a month) that's about $77 a month cost.
- A one pound bag of GPS has about 200 teaspoons. That's 80 servings at two heaping teaspoons per serving, which is 27 days at three servings per day. So, someone over 170 pounds would need between 1.1 bags per month at three servings per day. At $55 per bag, and 1.5 bag per month that's $66 per month in cost.
- The 6 OGF capsules and 1 AID per day will average to a cost of about $55 per month
- With the above averages in mind, the the total cost will probably be just over $350 per month for three servings of WIN per day. Of course, that cost is offset by the amount of food one doesn't eat each month. This amount could be less for smaller persons and a little more for very large persons.
- Utilizing Ricatein and Monk Fruit instead of e7 will save about $60 a month. But, it doesn't taste as good and lacks fiber that E7 provides. But, Ricatein still works great as proven by great results for the past two years while E7 was unavailable.
